Celebrating 25 years of one of John Hiatt's most powerful albums with a previously unpublished portion of an interview with David Immerglück from 'Have a Little Faith: The John Hiatt Story.'
John's been s favorite since I can remember. As a radio guy I got a chance to speak with him before a show once in Missoula, Montana. Such a warm and charming man, great songwriter. And what an album this is.
It was a classic the moment it was released and quarter century later, it remains a wonderful record.
Love that story about John refusing to use the fancy studio. That seems very on brand. Thank you so much for all these details and sharing the love of Hiatt.
Great post. Love that album!
Great piece, Michael - thank you!
Thanks for sharing this! Seems appropriate to revisit this album on our road trip across the big muddy this weekend!
