I cam late to Hiatt, first intro'd with Stolen Moments. Haven't looked back since, and Mac's git work is a key part of the draw of the album for me. Thanks for this post, I'll miss Mac
Love this! I’m Harrison, an ex fine dining industry line cook. My stack "The Secret Ingredient" adapts hit restaurant recipes (mostly NYC and L.A.) for easy home cooking. Dm me if interested in a recommendation swap — we’re growing fast!
Shit, another great one has left us. He left his mark on so many records. I was just listening to Blonde on Blonde the other day…his playing on Absolutely Sweet Marie is gold. RIP
If I remember correctly (and that is a daily chore!) Gayden was a member of Barefoot Jerry for the majority of their career, or at least a good part of it. hey- I looked a bit closer and you had thrown that in... don't think they ever made it to the west coast but the, not sure if they toured much at all.

Those fucking guys could play anything. With anyone. “Been playing since they’s babies. Been workin’ since they two.”
That slide solo on 'Morning Glory' is absolutely magical!
