What a day!

And Flip! I grew up with comedy albums from George Carlin and Bill Cosby to Steve Martin and Brother Dave Gardner. But to me, Flip Wilson’s delivery - the way he could spin a tale or set up a story - was unmatched.

I’m puzzled by a song on your playlist. ‘Need To Belong’ has such a British Invasion sound. In fact after two listens, it doesn’t even seem like it’s Mr. Butler singing. Do you any details on this one? Thanks.

Interesting. Were you listening through Spotify or Apple? Spotify has the correct song. Oddly, Apple has a different song. Indeed that does sound like a British Invasion-era tune, as someone at Apple apparently goofed. (Let's blame A.I.) I've uploaded a version straight from the original album, so it should be good now.

Thanks for the catch!

Yes it was Apple. I’m going with Jerry and The Pacemakers. And let’s blame AI for everything why don’t we!

Yes, let's! Gerry and the Pacemakers makes sense: Jerry/Gerry: Chicago/Liverpool - easy mistake.
